Neurodiagnostic Technology (NDT) - A.A.S. Degree/Certificate

Become a Registered EEG Technician by Studying the Human Brain in the Neurodiagnostic Technology (NDT) Program

If you are curious about the human brain and desire employment in an Allied Health profession, then a career in Neurodiagnostic Technology might be right for you. ACC’s Neurodiagnostic Technologist program is only one of two accredited degree programs in the entire state of Texas and the only program in the Houston area to offer an Associate’s Degree.

ND technologists record electrical activity arising from the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, somatosensory or motor nerve systems using a variety of techniques and instruments. They provide valuable data that physicians use to diagnose and treat conditions such as neuromuscular disorders, brain tumors, seizure disorders, strokes and degenerative brain disease.

Our small class sizes allow our outstanding faculty to provide personal attention with a curriculum that will prepare you for a rewarding and expanding career field. In addition, you will also receive hands-on training in a clinical lab setting.
